How often do you consider what you’re made of & how utterly unique you are?
From the perspective of Self, which paradoxically has no perspective, you’re comprised from a magical mix of atoms, the stuff of stars & galaxies.
From the multiple perspectives of parts, we’re often reduced to dirt, the proverbial shit & spit from the gutter. The stuff of dreams & nightmares, which, let’s face it, is a bit of a shame.
Today, on this near-Solstice day, we will be shining a light on our Self energy & embracing the wisdom & struggles of our multiple parts.
We will harness the grit & determination of parts - helping to motivate us forward, soften & listen to those parts struggling to survive the weight of judgment & expectation, & offer kindness & understanding to those trying to stay safe in the shadows.
This is likely to be the last of my quarterly retreat days at Flow. I can think of nothing more affirming, joyful & delicious than spending it all together celebrating light.
Oh & for those who’d like to be sure, there’ll be a joyful smorgasbord of movement, breath, poetry, sound, silence, reflection & creativity peppered throughout the day, as well as a good brunch & lots of time for tea, chat & companionship.
It’s going to be joyful, insightful & moving, and I can’t wait.
Come with a friend or come alone, but do come, you’re so welcome.
With love
Lucy
